Columbia County Is Growing!

Took some pictures of “downtown” Evans today, Columbia County’s fastest growing “city”. This one really gives you a feel for the place:

The Pastorals have really brought it a long way, so much so that suburbanites have formed an Evans Cheerleading Squad tauting the benefits of a plastic city with plastic trees and 3 or 4 lane divided highways. It’s hard to imagine what Columbia County was like just two weeks ago:

With any luck the planning foresight we see all along Washington Rd. will spread to all parts of Evans. Utopia!
