More Snow

It snowed even more today and is sticking around for awhile. I took the opportunity to go on a long walk and test my gear for Switzerland. I thought it wasn’t cold enough to wear gloves or a hat but after about an hour my eyebrows had about frozen off, my mocha was cold, and the cookie I bought at Caribou became a tooth-breaker. I walked gingerly on the iced-over sidewalks from here to Piedmont then on to the Bank Of America building, back around to Atlantic Station, and home again through the Ansley/Prado neighborhoods. So these pics and the others on flickr are from various points along the way. I tried to take Stella on this trip but she refuses to have anything to do with snow. While other dogs are running through the park with sticks in their mouths and rolling around making their equivalent of snow angels, she digs her feet in just outside the apartment door and refuses to budge. So she sat this one out.
