Time To Maintain The Fleet

I've decided to just get Miss America fixed. As much as I'd like the Monster 696, or the GS, or the Shiver, or the ZZR, or even the 650R or G650, its just not worth the extra investment when all she needs is a new transmission (or potentially just new shift forks). Besides, whats a couple grand between friends? It so happens that the jetta needs an oil change, a new mirror, and its rear brakes done too. But the dealership is in Marietta, so getting both the bike and the car to their respective shops can be a challenge. The only person I know who lives in town and works in the burbs is Brian, who drives like a complete maniac. I'd *only* be caught dead in his car. No problem, I've devised a brilliant plan:

1. Drive the jetta from the apartment to the dealership
2. Catch shuttle from the dealership to work
3. Hitch a ride with Jay (who lives in Roswell?) from work to one of the northern MARTA stations
4. Ride MARTA to the apartment (this leaves the car at the dealership overnight)
5. Ride the bike to the BMW dealership (it'll be there anywhere from 4 days, to two weeks, to all eternity).
6. Walk from the BMW dealership to the Volkswagen dealership (they're a few doors down from each other). Pick up the jetta.
7. Drive from the VW dealership to work.

Now the only complication is getting the bike back home after its repaired. It's really too bad there's no MARTA station within a few miles of work. But at this rate, the bike might not even be fixed before May 13th when Michael and Wanda come to town...
