Lost World

We're just two weeks away from leaving for Nicaragua so its time to get excited about the trip. Chris found an excellent site covering the attractions of Nicaragua (Central America's safest country you know). Using the preferred method of travel (Get there and figure it out), we have no official plans but a loose collection of things to do. We land in Managua. Chris happens to know some people there and we will stay with them the first and last nights. We also want to see Granada. But the ultimate goal is to reach the island of Ometepe and see whats on offer there. I expect a few volcano hikes, some two-wheeled excursions (motorized or human-powered), a day or two on the beach with the bullsharks ("the most dangerous shark alive"), maybe some kayaking, good food, and a relaxed but adventurous atmosphere.


I didn't want to swim anyway.
